Web-based carcols.meta generator re-design #
The carcols.meta generator was removed from Siren Tool since the engine used to create the tool is not optimal for complex interfaces with state awareness requirements. The generator has been fully re-built as a web-app on this site!
Simply create your pattern in Siren Tool, then click the "Export" button and choose "Open in carcols generator". You can still choose to just export the sequencers to a text file if you choose.
Your sequencers will be available to be drag-and-dropped onto Sirens with an upgraded feature set compared to the old generator.
The new generator is still under active development, so if you have any feedback be sure to let us know in our Discord server.
New backend infrastructure allowing for management of codes through web portal #
The backend infrastructure of Siren Tool and dwnstr.com has been re-done to be more stable, and support much more modern features.
Siren Tool owners can now view and manage their codes/licenses by simply logging in and visiting the account page. Codes can be activated and de-activated instantly at any time.
[BETA] First pass at a 3D viewer #
A 3D viewer has been a long-term goal for a long time, and this version introduces the first version of it!
Press TAB in the app to access the 3D view where you can view your pattern on a 3D vehicle with realistic environment lighting and orbit controls. As this feature is in beta, it's limited to a static layout based on the grid in the workspace, but the goal is to make this much more dynamic and customizable going forward. Be sure to leave your feedback and ideas about this experimental feature to guide the future of it's development!
